
Try these homemade Granola Bars as prepared by Stef from Healthylicious. These are ideal as a breakfast or for a quick snack between meals.
Makes 12

All you have to do is:
Lamb Brand Walnuts (or any other type of nut), 50g
Lamb Brand Pumpkin Kernels (or any other type of seed), 2 tbsp.
Lamb Brand Dark Chocolate Flakes, 1 tbsp.
Rolled wholegrain oats, 125g
Vita Natura Dates, 75g
Coconut oil / tahini / peanut butter (or any other type of nut butter), 2 tbsp.
Honey / maple syrup, 2 tbsp.
Fresh Orange, Squeezed, 1
All you have to do is:
- Line a small baking sheet with baking paper. 
 
- Place the oats and seeds in a medium bowl. Chop the nuts and add to the bowl. 
 
- Slice the dates lengthwise to remove the pit then cut into smaller pieces. 
 
- Place the dates in a microwave-safe bowl together with coconut oil and honey. 
 
- Microwave for a minute and let it cool. Meanwhile, squeeze the orange and mix in the juice together with the liquid ingredients in the microwave-safe bowl. 
 
- Transfer the granola mixture to the baking sheet. 
 
- Top the mixture with dark chocolate chips, if using. 
 
- Press the mixture into the baking sheet. 
 
- Let sit in the freezer for a minimum of 30 minutes to harden
 
- Lift the mixture off the baking sheet and transfer it onto a chopping board. 
 
- Cut in slices or squares and remove the baking paper. 
 
Note: You can prepare these bars in advance and store in the fridge for a week or in the freezer for longer storage for an easy grab-and-go snack.
