It doesn't take long to make the snow globes, but make sure you give the glue plenty of time to dry, otherwise it could get very messy!
All you need is:
Jars and lids (screw top)
Enamel paint
Paintbrush
Figurines (water-resistant figures, such as plastic cake toppers, santa, snowmen, and mini plastic Christmas trees)
Glue gun
Water
Glitter
Glycerin
All you have to do is:
1. Paint the outside of jar lids (optional). They will need two coats. Leave to dry between coats and allow to dry completely.
2. Arrange the scene of your globe jar.
3. Using your glue gun, generously apply your glue and stick your arrangement to the inside of the lid. Allow glue to dry completely.
4. Fill the jar almost to the top with water. Add a tablespoon of glitter and a dash of the glycerine. (Glycerine thickens the water and creates a snowfall effect with the glitter.)
5. Seal the lid using the glue gun. Line the inside of the jar lid with glue.
6. Screw on the lid tightly and leave to dry.
7. Add a festive gift tag to the jar neck for additional decoration.
