This recipe brings you the traditional Napoletan pizza with a Greek twist by adding feta cheese, bringing you a lighter healthier version that is sure to be a crowd pleaser at any party or get together.
Makes 1 pizza and serves 2 portions
Preparation and Cooking time: Approx 55 minutes
For Dough:
Lamb Brand Deep Pan Pizza Mix 250g
Water 125ml, warm
Olive Oil 10ml
Making the Pizza:
Lamb Brand Ground Black Pepper to taste
Lamb Brand Table Salt to taste
Lamb Brand Basil 1 tbsp
Cherry Tomatoes 15, halved
Feta Cheese 100g
Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 tbsp
Pizza Dough: Sift mixture into a bowl and add oil and water. Work dough with your hands until a smooth dough is obtained. Shape into a ball and leave to rest for 10 minutes in a warm area, covered it with a table cloth. Roll out on a floured working top, leaving it approximately 7mm thick. Put in a greased 28cm circled spring form cake tin and leave to rest in a warm place for another 20 minutes.
Making the Pizza: Brush Olive Oil on top of the dough, place all tomatoes on top, placed neatly near each other and then crumble the feta cheese all over. Sprinkle some salt and pepper, basil and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Bake in a 220°C preheated oven for 15 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
