You will need
For the dough:
Lamb Brand Aunties Mix 2kg
Lamb Brand White Sugar 300g
Lamb Brand Cardamom 2 tbsp
Lamb Brand Table Salt 1 tbsp
SAF Yeast 90g
Milk 1ltr
Butter 250g
For the filling:
Lamb Brand Icing Sugar 4 tsp
Lamb Brand White Granulated Sugar 4 tsp
Lamb Brand Cinnamon
Butter 4 tsp
For the glaze:
Lamb Brand Chocolate Flakes
Egg 1
Milk 1 tbsp
All you have to do is:
1. Melt the butter and add milk and cardamom and heat until warm.
2. In a food processor prepare the flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Add the butter and milk mixture. Blend until dough is formed and leave it to rest for 20 minutes at room temperature.
3. Knead dough for 5 minutes and sprinkle flour on the table. Cut dough into 2 pieces and roll out both pieces into rectangular shapes of about 2cm in thickness.
4. Mix the butter, sugar and icing sugar to make the filling.
5. Spread butter filling onto dough covering all top part and sprinkle cinnamon over.
6. Start to roll dough into a roly-poly. If the dough is too thick gently pull to make it longer.
7. Cut 3cm slices and place in muffin holders. Leave to rest for 5 minutes.
8. Whisk 1 egg and add 1 tablespoon of milk to glaze the buns.
9. Place in a pre-heated oven at 250C for 10-12 minutes until firm.
